The portal – http://www.easypha-max.com/ – was launched by Selangor senior state executive councillor and Kinrara assemblyman Teresa Kok and Easy Pha-Max Marketing Sdn Bhd founder and CEO Datuk David Yeat Sew Chuong, group executive director Ben Wong Seng Tong and director Ang Lai Hee at the Easy Pha-max headquarters at Bandar Puteri Puchong.
“Health products are easily accepted by many as each culture has their own unique health-enhancing products,” Kok said.
She was given a Platinum Loyalty Card (PLC) and entitled to a lifetime supply of Easy Pha-max products.
The PLC is a membership card that can be used by consumers to accumulate reward points to make purchases at the company’s online stores. The company has more than 5,000 e-shops around the globe.
According to Wong, the e-mall marked a new era for the company. The company has expanded it businesses to China and the United States and Wong announced plans to branch out to the Philippines this month and Indonesia in July.
“We are targeting spending RM10mil on advertising and promotions this year,” he said.
At the launch, actress Dynas Mokhtar was appointed as the new brand ambassador in a move to penetrate the Malaysian target market.
She was chosen for her healthy, trendy and sunny persona.
“I’m a health freak,” the 25-year-old actress, who starts her day with honey-wheat grass juice and goes to gym regularly.
“I was glad to be offered the role of ambassador as the brand’s image clicks with my lifestyle,” she said.
The company, which was launched last year, is the subsidiary of INS Bioscience, which is the marketing and distribution arm of Easy Pha-max brand of health supplements.
